Pretty quiet day yesterday. Nothing too exciting happened. Antonio Conte is set to join Inter
Milan which does make a lot of sense. Inter looking to find those glory years again and who better than a top coach like Conte who knows Italian football so well. Really good appointment. Apparently Lukaku and Victor Moses are the first men he wants. I'm not a fan of Lukaku. He's not a top player and never a United player and it seems the fans are realising this too. But maybe in Italy he could have a new start and better luck. Conte would make him lose some weight too. The Victor Moses one is a bit of a strange one. I get that he played as wing back in Conte's Chelsea system but surely there are better wing backs out there, especially in Italy.
Harry Kane, Jan Vertonghen and Davinson Sanchez are back in training for Spurs with 9 days to go. As mentioned yesterday, Kane will be ready for the final whilst Vertonghen is more
touch and go. Spurs really need him fit and if he is, it would be a massive boost. He
has been one of the best defenders in the Premier League for the last few years and arguably the most consistent. in the final, I'd go: Lloris, Tripper (there's literally no one else remotely good), Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Dier, Sissoko, Eriksen, Alli, Son, Kane/Lucas. I'll leave the final decision of Kane or Lucas up to Pochettino. Do you play your best player who will be a bit rusty and lack some match sharpness, or someone who just scored a hat trick to send them through? Luckily I'm not the manager.
Finally on a fashion note, those two Arsenal kits going around on Twitter are absolutely glorious. Kits in the Premier League have been sub par for the last few years but these two break the mould. They're absolutely spot on and genuinely brilliant. Well done Adidas.
Slightly shorter post today due to the lack of interesting news. Hopefully there will be a bit more tomorrow.
